Support Mastodon rel="me" links on blogs

5 votes

Mastodon has a way of verifying links where the pages linked to has an href back to the Mastodon profile in the form of <a rel="me" href="https://some.mastodon.server/@SomeProfile">bla bla</a>. When Mastodon sees the back-reference, the link becomes verified.

This is possible by going into a custom page, switching to HTML view, and adding the rel="me" attribute to the tag (although it doesn't persist through editing sessions, it does save), but not possible on the main page that loads the blog posts.
